Literature is just as important to us as the cinema. When we aren't watching movies, we like to read. We are interested in film books, published screenplays, novels about to be adapted into movies, as well as books for their own sake. On this page, though we have a primary interest in film, we let our literary interests roam where their may. Among the latest additions: The Hitchcock Murders by Peter Conrad, reviewed by D. K. Holm. The Shocking Miss Pilgrim by Frederica Sagor Maas Timeline by Michael Crichton Open Secret : Gay Hollywood 1928 - 1998 by David Ehrenstein The Speed of Sound: Hollywood and the Talkie Revolution, 1926-1930 by Scott Eyman Be Cool by Elmore Leonard Eyes Wide Open: A Memory of Stanley Kubrick by Fredric Raphael Hannibal by Thomas Harris Crash by Iain Sinclair |
