A Robin Wood Bibliography |

A descriptive, illustrated bibliography of the work of noted film critic Robin Wood Compiled by D. K. Holm and others [to be named as they contribute] This page is, of course, a work in progress. The few references here fail to tap even a little bit into the great many references and critiques and interviews with Robin Wood that have appeared since 1965. I welcome suggestions and citations, at dkholm@me.com.
Robin Wood: Brittisk Filmkritiker
The first book on Wood, in any language. After an introduction, individual chapters cover Wood's background and influences, the early Movie years and the Hitchcock book, Godard, Bergman, and Modernism, the Screen wars, Wood in transition, and the CineACTION! years [NB: this summary is largely a guess; this bibliographer does not yet read Swedish]. The book concludes with an extensive bibliography and an index. There is a summary of the book in English on pages 239 - 242.
